Temperatures will briefly moderate on Saturday, topping out near 40°. Enjoy the break while you can—because some of the coldest air of the season is set to move into Kentucky starting Sunday. Highs on Sunday will only reach the 20s.

The arctic air will bottom out on Monday, with morning lows near 10° and wind chills close to 0°. Afternoon highs will struggle to climb out of the teens. Temperatures will slowly begin to improve by Tuesday afternoon.

 

 

Sunday afternoon at the Bengals/Ravens game at Paycor Stadium is not looking good at all for me.  I'm 65.

The Polar Vortex will push into Kentucky early Sunday and continue through Monday morning, bringing the coldest temperatures of the season. Highs on Sunday will struggle to reach the teens. From Sunday night into Monday morning, temperatures will drop into the single digits. During this stretch, wind chills will hover around zero degrees, creating dangerously cold conditions.
