Lady Vikings get a huge win tonight against a good Clark County basketball team. Lady Vikings forced 32 turnovers with outstanding defense. Clark County only got beat by Montgomery County by 4, Mercy by 1, and already beat Mason County. Lady Vikings played great defense tonight that really frustrated the Lady Cardinals the entire game. Great win for the Lady Vikings. I'm sure Coach Thomas has to be pleased with his team's effort. Get well Coach Thomas from the Lady Viking fans. Coach Ronnie Cornett has taken over the Lady Vikings which has done an excellent job in replace of Coach Thomas. :thumb:

It looks like the Lady Vikings are really starting to hit their stride. In a previous post just a day or so ago I said that Russell is the team to beat. I might still give the edge to Russell, but Rowan is definitely breathing on the Lady Devil's necks.

Rowan will be the 16th Region champs! No team plays the level of schedule Troy plays. He nearly pulled off a regional championship last year with much less talent. His girls are ready to play anybody come March.
