BGP Weather Forecast for Friday 11/21/25 Games

Featured Replies

This is my preliminary prediction for the games this Friday. I'll be forecasting from 4 to 10 PM EST. The northern Kentucky region will have temperatures in the low to mid-60s at the beginning of the session. Temperatures in the mid-to upper-60s are predicted for the remainder of Kentucky. Temperatures in Northern Kentucky should drop to the middle to upper 50s. Temperatures throughout the remainder of Kentucky will drop to the middle to upper 60s. This should result in a reasonably pleasant night for high school football in November, but there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, some of which could be strong. Strong storms are currently most likely to occur in western Kentucky. As you head east, the likelihood decreases.

As soon as I have further information, I will update this post.

Showers will continue into Friday night, and a few thunderstorms are still possible, though the severe threat has decreased.

At the start of the period, temperatures north of I-64 will range from the mid to upper 50s. South of I-64, temperatures will be a bit warmer, generally in the mid-50s to upper 60s, with parts of western Kentucky reaching the low 70s. By 11 PM EST, temperatures north of I-64 will drop into the low 50s, and areas around northern Kentucky and Cincinnati may fall into the upper 40s. Showers should begin tapering off in western Kentucky, while more persistent rainfall is expected along the Ohio River as well as across central and eastern Kentucky.

A quick look at the radar shows most of Kentucky is in the clear by 7pm.
