The Blue Devils of Henry Clay (1-9) make the 3-4 mile trip to "The Farm" to take on the Broncos of Frederick Douglass (6-4) in the opening round of the playoffs. This will be a tough one for Henry Clay who lost a tough one last night to Conner 41-34 in OT. The Broncos also lost a tough one last night 20-13 to Boyle Co.  

This will make the 7th time these two will play (actually 6 real games as one was a covid win in 2021). The Broncos have won all 7 games by a combined total of 180-17. This should be a win for the Broncos. The game is not being broadcast on Gilcod this week but should by on the NFHS Network. This game is on Thursday night Nov. 6 with a kick at 7:00pm

The Broncos score again and with 4:04 left in the first quarter it is now 22-0  Broncos.

Douglass scores again and now led 29-0 with 11:48 still left in the first half.

Douglass scores another touchdown and the 2-point conversion is good and with 6:46 to play in the 2nd quarter it is now 37-0 and a running clock.

Henry Clay gets on the board vs the Douglass reserves and it is 37-7 with 4:04 left in the 3rd quarter.

Touchdown and now with 11:30 left to play the Broncos are back up 44-7.
