Lafayette had a better top end and peaked at the right time. Trinity was down a man and their depth didn't scale up - H2H comps.

At a glance, Drew Koon didn't finish as high as I expected. Your 5th man, Goodwin, didn't run. Cebe, who replaced him, became T's No. 6.

I noticed you're referencing the MileSplit ranking times. The courses at Tom Sawyer Park and Seneca Park are super fast. I think that skews the rankings somewhat, and one has to consider that T gets a benefit from running on them. Indiana HSCA has an independent ratings system that factors course difficulty and it is spectacularly accurate. 

I feel you. Same happened to my "#1" Cov Cath team - injuries to their 2, a 5 that didn't run and less than optimal performances in the middle. Lex Cath mirrored what Lafayette did and won by 11.

Yep, It looked like Profitt ran a great time and that shuffled a few things.  If I recall last years came down to the Rocks being a man down too.

Course difficulty is always a wild card.  Curious how exactly the Hoosier State adjusts.

A successful Indiana high school coach turned me on to the site below and swears by it.

An experienced hand can manipulate the data to get what's needed. I went down the rabbit hole a few years ago. The mechanics of it elude me presently.
