Does the Sticklan girl play on the freshman team? She's got all the tools from what I've seen,just needs the coaching. If she continues to improve she may dress next year on JV at the least, as a 7th grader. What do you think U Reach?

U Reach, Bracken had a girl in the middle school ranks I believe a couple of years back that had the makings of a future baller and has since transferred. Do you know whom I'm speaking and where is she at,how's she doing,etc?

Reno Frayne was her name... Came to us from Grant County as a 7th grader.. She just transferred a week ago to a school in Ohio.. Not for sure which one.. Maybe New Richmond..

 

She had the potential to be one of the greatest female athletes to come through Bracken Co.

She will be an 8th grader next year and has a chance to be on JV..Not guaranteeing anything... Very bright future..

 

She is not playing Freshman this year because we have 9 freshman and like 5 8th graders.

Hopefully not New Richmond, I play them next year.

You sure she's not in the 6th grade this year. If she is an 8th grader next year and has a good summer,forget about JV, she should be dressing and playing varsity. Hope Bracken can keep her.

That's her. Didn't they have a hard time just getting her parents to let her play? Will have to remember that name as the years go on, I heard from too many that she was the real deal and on top of that just a wonderful kid. Don't she have an athletic brother also?

No idea about the athletic brother.. If so, not in the middle school.. Parents didnt mind her playing MS athletics, but we tried bringing her up last year and her parents wouldnt allow it.

You agree about the varsity for next season or is this frowned upon by the Bracken County coaching staff? Seems like all of the local schools(especially Mason and Harrison) are big on playing 8th graders(if they deserve it)on varsity. Can't recall Bracken ever playing an 8th grader on varsity as a starter or getting significant minutes. I'm sure it has happened,just can't recall. You remember any?

She played big Varsity minutes last year and is starting this year as a Freshman
