This preliminary forecast indicates another promising night for high school football.  Kentucky remains under a ridge, so temperatures east of I-65 will be in the low to mid 70s around 5 p.m. EDT. Those west of I-65 will experience temperatures in the mid- to upper 70s. Some might reach the low 80s. By 11 p.m. EDT, temperatures will fall to the low to mid 60s across the state. No precipitation is expected for Friday night. Changes are on the way, with showers and thunderstorms expected Saturday afternoon. Some of these could be strong, particularly in western Kentucky. More on that as we get closer to the weekend.
