The Hornets of Magoffin County make the trip to Irvine on Friday to take on the Engineers in the first district game of the 2025 season. 

Magoffin County comes in 2-3 and is coming off a 43-0 loss to Winfield WV. 

 

Estill County comes in 3-2 and is coming off a thrilling 24-14 win over Montgomery County. 

Estill is 11-3 against the Hornets and defeated the Hornets 13-12 in OT last season. The year before that,  Magoffin County won 38-19.
