2025 Mr. Football Watchlist (9/16)

Featured Replies

Week 4

Evan Hampton (RB, Owensboro)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
?️ | The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the watchlist he was cooked. Hampton breathed life into a badly faded campaign by imposing his malevolence on OCath’s defense and nearly tripling his yardage output for the season with 209 yards and his first three touchdowns of 2025. He's got some ground to make up, but at least he's out of the starting blocks.
Season so far: 46 carries for 327 yards and 3 touchdowns

Wyatt Robbins (QB, Murray)
⭐⭐⭐⭐
?️ | Created a new constellation by piercing the night sky with eight touchdown passes, one shy of tying the state record. He's also collecting this week's 'William Tell Marksmanship Award' ? after completing 17 of his 20 pass attempts for 336 yards against Marshall County. He aggressively made his move up the watchlist with the greatest statistical passing performance of the season.
Season so far: 66/93 (71%) for 1,080 yards and 16 touchdowns and 1 interception | 250 rushing yards

Gerian Traynor (RB, Manual)
⭐⭐⭐⭐
?️ | He scoffed at the meteoric trajectory of Louisville’s trendy, darkhorse darling. There was nowhere for the sleek and stacked Atherton defense to hide as Manual sent Traynor straight at them, knifing and darting his way to a pair of touchdowns and 136 yards, a hundred more than the Ravens had allowed through the first three weeks.
Season so far: 75 carries for 531 yards and 7 touchdowns | 1 receiving touchdown

Cash Harney (QB, Covington Catholic)
⭐⭐⭐⭐
?️ | As the saying goes, “good things come in threes”. The CovCath faithful would enthusiastically concur after watching Harney evolve into a triple threat against Dixie Heights, throwing for two touchdowns, running for one, and catching the first pass of his career, resulting in a 63 yard touchdown. It was all part of his 239 all-purpose yards and four score night as the ? Colonels bested the ? Colonels for the 19 straight time.
Season so far: 43/61 (70%) for 652 yards and 5 touchdowns with 4 interceptions | 409 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns | 1 touchdown reception

Colin Daniels (QB, North Oldham)
⭐⭐⭐⭐
?️ | Just call him Sir Daniels from now on, after earning his knighthood for slaying the Dragons. No shield necessary as he was on the offensive, spraying daggers all over the field for 244 yards and three touchdowns as North got the better of South Oldham for the first time in eleven years.
Season so far: 67/96 (70%) for 985 yards and 11 touchdowns with 1 interception | 2 rushing touchdowns

Brady Wasik (QB, Lexington Catholic)
⭐⭐⭐
?️ | The quintessential ‘glue guy’ for the rejuvenated Knights. He's their best passer, runner, and, arguably, defender. He did some of each against Great Crossing, throwing for 137 yards and a touchdown, running for 68 yards and another score, and added five tackles and a pair of sacks.
Season so far: 30/48 (62%) for 321 yards and 2 touchdowns | 61 rushes for 362 yards and 3 touchdowns | 28 tackles | 7 TFL | 3.5 sacks | 2 forced fumbles

Jacob Savage (RB/LB, Ryle)
⭐⭐⭐
?️ | The Raiders pushed CAL further than anyone probably will this year. On a field with fellow FBS prospects, Savage was right at home, though the numbers are modest: 70 yards and two touchdowns rushing, a touchdown reception, and nine tackles.
Season so far: 57 carries for 338 yards and 7 touchdowns | 2 touchdown receptions | 35 tackles | 5.5 TFL

Markezz Hightower (RB, Madisonville-North Hopkins)
⭐⭐⭐
?️ | His 50+ yard run in the opening moments against Tilghman set the tone for the fight M-NH was going to put up. He was held in check from that point on, finishing with 125 yards on 19 carries and zero trips to the endzone.
Season so far: 70 carries for 677 yards and 11 touchdowns | 1 receiving touchdown

Luke Ballard (RB, Great Crossing)
⭐
?️ | Despite a winless start to the season, Ballard had produced a strong individual effort each week, averaging 170 yards per game against three top five opponents. LexCath put a stop to it, rendering Ballard virtually invisible with just 18 yards on ten carries.
Season so far: 83 carries for 525 yards and 5 touchdowns

Trending Up ?
Lucas Tompkins (WR/DB, North Oldham)
?️ | Simultaneously one of the state's premier receivers and defensive backs, Tompkins has stepped into the limelight as Colin Daniels’ favorite target and one of the prolific thieves in the state. He's picked off at least one pass in three of NO’s first four games
Season so far: 27 receptions for 441 yards and 7 touchdowns | 4 interceptions, including a pick-six

Landon Yoak (RB/LB, East Carter)
?️ | The Raider battering ram is already well on his way to a third straight thousand yard season after opening with 215 against Belfry and 268 last week against Greenup County.
Season so far: 89 carries for 809 yards and 13 touchdowns | 16 tackles | 6 TFL | 1 sack

DMC, thanks for all your work.  Great info.

Lloyds Kaleb Evans is having a heck of a season 929 yards passing 10 tds!
