A No-Hitless season?

Featured Replies

With roughly 20 or so games remaining for everyone in the season, there has yet to be a no-hitter thrown this season.  If none is thrown in the final weeks, it will mark the first time since 2005 that zero no-hitters were thrown.

Several pitchers have come close recently, even one making it 2 outs into the ninth (Yamamoto of the Dodgers, in a game that LA ended up losing 4-3).

Will someone manage one before the season ends?

Not a No-hitter but Aroldis Chapman just had a 17 game streak where he faced 50 batters without giving up a hit. The streak ended last night.

That's the third longest streak by number of appearances (17) in MLB since 1901.
