Powell needs to upgrade the defense dramatically if they want a winning season in Stanton. They allowed 47 ppg in their seven losses last year and gave up 50 in one of their wins.

The offense will likely lean heavily on the arm and legs of quarterback Brady Skidmore, who posted 2,300 yards of total offense and 28 TDs as a freshman. All other major contributors at the skill positions are gone.

I see a lot of toss-up games, with losses to Pikeville, Letcher, and Lawrence almost assured.
