This is really unfortunate for those student athletes that qualified for the state meet on Wednesday only to be told that it does not count.  I honestly don't know what else the Khsaa could do other than this though.

Tough year for Region 1 Class A track. The original meet had to be postponed a day because of storms, and now this. 

@TigerMomx3, we have an answer to the delayed results dilemma. I'm sure Coach Parke and the Tigers will make the best of it.

The results for the field events are final. It would be fair, and a courtesy to the stakeholders in the other six regions, to post those those 12 events officially. 

@GBR, Mother Nature has been a bear this Spring. There were a handful of meets delayed over the last week due to weather. The region I follow was set for last Friday and was rescheduled for Wednesday. 

On the plus side for Region 1 ~

• Those athletes doing double duty in field and running events can focus on racing now.

• They have the added bonus of knowing the standards to meet for the provisional "Next Ten" qualifying list.
