Great Crossing Warhawks 🇸🇱 (9-5) Notes and observations • The only change among the Top 8 is PRP and Sayre swapping places. The Spartans leapfrog the Panthers to #2. • Trinity locked up the opposition last week, going 4-0 with the pitching staff collectively surrendering just one earned run. • Ballard remained unbeaten, taking two from Covington Catholic. They're an impressive 42-6 since the start of last season. The Bruins have looked like a complete team so far, batting nearly .360 as a squad, coupled with a 1.25 ERA. • Ryle earns the biggest bump of the week. The Raiders move up seven places on the heels of a five game win streak. They staked their claim as the top team in NKY with commanding wins over CovCath and Beechwood last week. • Bullitt East grabbed headlines with a 3-2 win over then #2 PRP. Hunter Holland struck the biggest blow for BEast with a home run. The Chargers were responsible for one of PRP’s three losses last season and were the last in-state team to beat the Panthers. • Taylor County ripped off a 5-0 week, running their win streak to six games. The Cardinals have outscored the opposition 76-6 during that stretch. Runs have been plentiful behind a line-up stroking a .372 avg. with four hitting .419 or higher. • Whitley County's arms continue to mute opponent’s bats. The Colonels are sporting a 1.28 team ERA from the top of the staff to the bottom. • McCracken County's Kendrick Dunning blasted two home runs and drove in five in a win over Daviess County. • The week's new additions are Paducah Tilghman and Meade County. The Tornado swept a pair from Christian County in their only two games last week. Elijah Hamilton and Brayden James have combined to allow two earned runs in 36 innings of work. Meade County has lost one game to in-state competition. Austin Stansbury was masterful on the mound against Owensboro last week, allowing four hits in a complete game shutout for the Green Wave. 2 2
mcpapa Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Not much love for NKY in week 4 excepting Ryle. May if Harrison keeps rolling we’ll see a representative from the 10th.

Harrison is still off their radar, which is strange considering the history of that program and the fact that the Thorobreds are 18-2 right now. 1
