Indiana has been extremely active the last week in making moves to improve on last season.  Unfortunately, one of those was cutting ties with former Indiana Hoosier and Sacred Heart star Grace Berger.   Hopefully she can get a change to catch on someplace else.  Maybe with the new expansion Valkyries.

Berger was claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Lynx.

I am super happy for Grace. 

She has now been signed on a hardship contract for the remainder of the season by the Los Angeles Sparks.

Basically the team doesn't have enough (at least 10) healthy players so they are allowed to sign an additional player without having to clear a spot by waiving someone.

Thank you and I am glad Grace is still in the league. 

That lasted all of 3 days.  She's been released by the Sparks.
