With week 2 complete, the top 3 teams (Green Co. Adair Co. & Larue Co) in the region seem to be distancing themselves from the other teams. Central Hardin remains unbeaten and are playing much better than I expected them to be at this point in the season. The marquee matchup (Caverna at Green) from last week was marred by an ugly incident that resulted in at least 4 ejections the night of, and I suspect there will be a few more handed down from Lexington. The top 3 teams remain the same, North Hardin stays in the top 5 despite having only won 1 game, but strength of competition is something to consider there. Central Hardin moves up several spots and Caverna and Taylor County both drop out of the top 5.

Going to really see what Adair is made of this week heading to King of the Bluegrass. Play 8th region power North Oldham to start off and await either Trinity or South Laurel in game 2. Adair comes off a big win over top 15 ranked Bowling Green so this could be the chance for them to rack up some wins against elite competition.
