A very tight contest in Steinhauser Gymnasium tonight. Props to Atherton for a great battle. The Ravens' duo of Emmanuel Jones and Jeffry Johnson gave the Rocks a whole lot of trouble and could not miss for most of the night.

Jayden Johnson played his first full game of the season for Trinity and managed well. He hit the three free throws to send Trinity into OT. Julius Edmonds was 100% from the FT line (or close too it) and that made a big difference.

Trinity (3-1) now heads to Newport tomorrow for a battle with Princeton (Ohio). Atherton (4-3) has Meade County next on Tuesday. The way this game went tonight, wouldn't surprise me if these two were to meet again in the 27th District Title game. Atherton looked like the second-best team in the district tonight and it wouldn't surprise me if they made some noise this season...maybe even in the LIT?
