Male is better, but the injuries have to make you think it will be a little closer than the first meeting. I expect a close game until around the 4th quarter with Male getting the win.

I'll be shocked if Ballard pulls this out.  Don't see a lot of good teams Ballard has beaten.  However, it would be really exciting for those kids if they pull this off. 

Male goes up 3-0 on opening kickoff.  Rest of 1st qtr and most of 2nd no major action until Ballard gets ball with about 5 minutes until half on own 18 yard lines.  Great extended drive to go up 7-3 with 56 seconds left.  Male returns kickoff to own 45 and hits a long one with 18 seconds left to go up 10-7.  Squib kick fumbled and Male recovers on 35.  Hits time expiring TD to go up 17-7.  Wow!

Ballard receives 2nd half kick and after a long drive hits a field goal to make it 17-10 Male.  Male turns ball over on interception on Ballard 12.  Holds Ballard on 3 and out as 3rd qtr ends. Ballard will punt to start 4th from their own 10.

Male to start on Ballard 40.

At 10:03 Henson misses a 37 yard FG keeping score 17-10.  Ballard ball on own 20.

After lengthy time consuming Ballard drive, Male intercepts and returns it to midfield.  Less than 3:30 left in game.

On 4th and 2 on Ballard 39 (2:30 left), Male kicks and Ballard starts on own 8 yard line.

Long Ballard drive for TD at 57 seconds, lineup for tying Xpt which is good.  17-17 with little time for Male which has been lethargic this half.

Wow!  Male poorly attacks and does not manage lock.  Forced to punt with 19 seconds.  Ballard has outplayed Bulldogs.  

Upset Alert!  Ballard has time for one play from own 35.  Swing pass for 4.  Overtime.

Male goes for 4th down FG and misses.  Ballard just needs any score for the win.

Ballard takes the win with a 2 yd TD by QB for 23-17 victory.
