Last night saw district finales across the state. Here is how things ended in 6A.

District Seven

2. Lafayette (5-4, 2-1)

3. Henry Clay (1-8, 1-2)

4. Dunbar (1-7, 0-3)

District Eight

1. Fredrick Douglass (6-3, 3-0)

2. Bryan Station (5-4, 2-1)

3. George Rogers Clark (4-5, 1-2)

4. Madison Central (5-4, 0-3)

In terms of playoffs in 6A, districts three and six will be cross-bracketed while four and five will as well.

Playoff bracket alignment would look like this then:

Region One

District One, District Two, District Three, District Six

Region Two

District Four, District Five, District Seven, District Eight

Appreciate you compiling that.  Two things stick out to me…

1). Only one potential 2nd round matchup even intrigues & that's St X vs Ryle

2). I believe district 8 will have a clean sweep of district 7 in the 1st round.
