Wow, wow, wow…what a night in Hebron. The game of the day did not disappoint and neither did Cougars.

The Cougars jumped on the Jaguars early as Brayden Thornton makes a beautiful pass from the backfield to Mason Ginn who gets past the Jaguar defenders and finds the side netting to get the Cougars up 1-0 in the first 4 minutes. The game would go back and forth with no real threat of scoring from either team until about 5 minutes left when Benji Araujo’s cross finds the head of Golikia Masoluka for the 2-0 lead for the Cougars which they would take into halftime.

The Cougars would generate a few good chances in the second half but Carson Morgan would make some nice saves to prevent the Cougars from extending their lead. With less than 2 minutes left the Jaguars would find the gap in the Cougars defense and get a header past Wagner to make it 2-1. The Jaguars would press hard the last minute and a half but the Cougars hold on for the victory, the sweep of the 33rd, and secure the #1 seed for the district.
