Sophomore guard Leslie Eagle hit a three point shot from the right wing in the 2nd quarter to give exactly 1000 points in her young career.

Eagle becomes the 7th Morgan County Lady Cougar to reach the 1,000 point club plateau.

With two more seasons remaning after this one, it's likely Eagle could possibly become the girl's and the school's all team leading scorer.

Great accomplishment for Leslie Eagle! Wow...........and only a sphomore, the future looks bright for this young lady.:thumb: Great job.

Congrat to Miss Eagle. :thumb:

The Cougars have only 2 seniors this season. Jaycee Curd and Haley Linkous. They will return everyone else and have a talented Freshman class lead by Lara Hembree and Shey Williams and also two middle schoolers that are very talented. Most 16th region followers will remember the name of Hembree...Lara's dad Keith was 16th regional tournament MVP in 1986 for the Cougars.
