Anderson County 27 East Jessamine 21

Featured Replies

Anderson County hands East Jessamine their first loss on the season, avenging the 14-6 loss last year. I was at the game, Anderson and East Jessamine both looked much improved from last year. Anderson jumped out to a 21-0 lead at the half before East’s defense settled in and just allowed one TD the rest of the way. East began to get in a groove on offense and fought hard, scoring their final TD and XP with no time on the clock to set the final score.

Both teams still have room to grow, and will not be easy games for the remainder of their schedules. East Jessamine has put together a great staff to make the transition from the former staff, installed a new offense and defense, and are starting to buy in. I’m excited to watch them continue growing. Their schedule allows them the potential of a fantastic season if the players continue to execute and listen to the staff.

Great win for AC!  Coach Buchanon and his staff has got the team believing and are doing a great job.  Things are looking up in Lawrenceburg.  Go Bearcats!!!

They have a fine team there and will be a load to handle going forward. Best of luck (except if they meet East Jessamine again, sorry ?)
