Pulaski County 56 Danville 6

As was predicted here, this got away from the Ads in a hurry.  Maroons scored at will and turned the game into a running clock before the end of the first quarter.  Ads weren't able to really move the ball and avoid getting shut out until the 4th quarter when the Maroons were taking their foot off the gas.  Whole game from kickoff to last snap took about 90 total minutes.

Danville (0-2) plays Lincoln next week since the Ads cancelled the game planned against Boyle earlier this year.  That game will probably happen at Centre as the radio announcers were not confident the water leak at Admiral Stadium would be fixed in time.  That whole thing seems to be an omen for the season in more ways that one.

Pulaski County (1-1) hosts George Rogers Clark.

Pulaski scored on every offensive possession in the first half. Danville had one first down at the half.

I don't think the Ads stopped the Maroons all night.  They were marching up and down the field at will.  I don't have any total offense numbers for the Ads but it had to be low.  Lots of their runs and passes were going in the wrong direction thru 3 quarters.  Lone bright spot was decent yardage on kickoff returns but that was it.
