The Wildcats travel to Bowling Green to face the Dragons this Friday. Last year FS won handily 42-12. The last several years in this rivalry have been big wins for FS.

Warren Central is coming off a season-opening win against Russellville 8-6. FS defeated Daviess County 31-13. I think this year’s contest will be more of the same, a big win for the Wildcats.

Bump.

FS wins the toss and defers. Dragons to receive.

Interception by Colin Anderson and FS will start at its own 26.

51 yard TD run for Anderson on 3rd and 16. FS 7-0 at 8:23 in first.

WC punts to FS 30.

Blake McPherson 52 yard TD run. FS 14-0 at 1:18 in first.

WC turnover on downs at the FS 35. Great sack by Kason Himschoot on the play.

Brady Delk to Cason Groves 40 yard TD pass. FS 21-0 at 8:51 in second.

Cayden Hawk 10 yard TD run for the Dragons. Conversion run is good. FS 21-8 at 5:38 in second. Good drive for WC.

FS turnover on downs just short at the WC 44.

Hawk with a 6 yard TD run for the Dragons. Conversion run is good and the Dragons are back in it. FS 21-16 with 1:03 before the half.

Big play of the drive was a pass out to the WR who threw it downfield for about a 40 yard gain. It was an illegal forward pass as the first one went forward about a yard or so but the referee could not see it I guess. It happened right down the line where I am sitting.

68 yard TD bomb Delk to Anderson as the Wildcats answer with 17 seconds to go before halftime. Beautiful play. FS 28-16.

Halftime FS 28-16.
