NKY Week 2 Games Preview

As week 2 kicks off on Monday here are the games scheduled for NKY teams only:

Monday

Covington Catholic @ Campbell County - Predicting the Camels get their first loss on Monday.  Game of the day.

Pendleton County @ Calvary Christian

Tuesday

Boone County @ Scott

Dixie Heights @ Newport Central Catholic - This is my pick for game of the week.  Can the Red Colonels get their 1st win of the season on the grass plains of Morscher Field as they try to tame the Thoroughbreds?

Holy Cross @ Ryle - In the words of Mr. T "I predict PAIN!"

St. Henry @ Beechwood - 2nd choice for game of the day.  I've seen Beechwood firsthand, and they are tough.  I think the Tigers win this one.

Villa Madonna @ Calvary Christian

Thursday

Bishop Brossart @ Cooper - Game of the day.  This will be a battle but I'm picking Cooper to come away with a win 2-1.

Covington Latin @ Calvary Christian

Grant County @ Holmes

Highlands @ Boone County

Ryle @ Gallatin County - Not sure why Ryle is playing Gallatin County, this may be 8-0 mercy rule game in the second half.

Scott @ Campbell County

Saturday

Calvary Christian @ Bishop Brossart - Game of the day...the other games don't really interest me, and it will be interesting to see if Calvary can keep it close.

Conner @ Scott

Simon Kenton @ Holy Cross (Covington)

@kyag Here are 2 games that just got posted recently for this Saturday.  One of them might be a REALLY good game to show if Highlands might have something special this year.  A very early BIG test!

UNION CLASSIC at Ryle

11AM:  Ryle vs Madison Central

1PM:  Highlands vs Lafayette

Lafayette will come into town as the State Runner Up from last year out of the 11th Region.  What a HUGE test this will be for the Birds!  Will the Birds be ready?

No love from the NKY Coaches association for Beechwood going into the second week of the season. Cooper being a little disrespected?  Dixie Heights over hyped?
