Russell Malone has stepped down after one season at the helm of the Rebels.

Walter McCombs is the new coach at Todd County Central. McCombs was JV coach at Bowling Green High School previously.

Todd County Central posted on Facebook back on July 26th:

"Congratulations to Coach Jonathan Williams for being promoted to Associate Head Coach for the Todd County Central High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team. We appreciate everything Coach Williams has done over the past 3 seasons as the grounding force of the program and are excited to continue to call him part of the family. 

Please join us in saying CONGRATULATIONS COACH WILLIAMS!"

Not sure exactly what an "associate head coach" is, but the team page on the KHSAA Scoreboard shows him as their head coach 🤷‍♀️

Walter McCombs is their head coach, believe Williams is top assistant. McCombs met the team at the end of August and is teaching in the school.
