What were your personal goals heading into the 2023 season, and were you able to achieve those goals?

My personal goal was to help my team make it to a state championship, and I wanted to score on a college field. My team did make it to the championship, and I couldn’t be more proud of my brothers. My goal was fulfilled; I scored three touchdowns on a college field!

What goals had you set for your team, and did the team hit those goals?

We didn’t plan on starting the season 0-2, so my goal was to turn it around and win regionals, and we did fulfill that.

What will you miss the most from the 2024 class?

I will miss the C/O 2024 leadership and commitment. I love how they brought us together, even after people doubted us.

What did you learn about yourself that you can use to become a better player this coming season?

I learned that I always win my one-on-ones. I would like to keep up the work I put in last offseason, so it will take more than one player to take me down.

What were the high and low points of the 2023 season?

The low point was transferring schools and having to sit out the first game of the season, knowing I couldn’t be out there with my teammates. The high point was bouncing back, having a successful season, and making it to the state championship!

Who was the best player you faced in a game during the 2023 season?

I'd have to say it is a toss-up between Kaden Clay at Fredrick Douglass and Deuce Bailey at Bowling Green High.

Just focusing on the road games you played in 2023, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with why it was so good?

Both games have the best overall atmosphere. It was good because we were both well-matched teams and got the win both times.

What is the hardest part of playing running back?

I would have to say the hardest part is studying the different defenses in the game.

What is the best part of being a member of the Bryan Station football team?

The love. There is love everywhere! The whole staff and my teammates.

What is the toughest part of being a student-athlete?

The toughest part about being a student athlete is keeping your grades straight and remaining focused during the off-season.

Do you think that private schools have an unfair advantage over public schools?
