Nicholas County pulled away from the host Ladycats with a strong second half performance.  The Lady Jackets forced 26 Pendleton turnovers for the game, which was a huge key.

Maggie Simons led all scorers with 25 points.  She earned All-Tournament Team honors, alongside teammates Neveah Davis & Tessa Humphries.

Lilly Ashcraft led Pendleton County with 22 points, while Hannah Spaulding contributed 10.  Both ladies earned All-Tournament honors.

The "Big 3" for Nicholas took turns asserting their dominance over the LadyCats. Pendleton cut the Nicholas lead to 4 on several occasions in the first half, but could get no closer.

Both teams advance to next weeks 10th Region Tournament at Bourbon County, with the draw on Saturday morning.
