The 7th Region schedule was light this past week due to weather cancelations. There was one great game which was played by Male and Great Crossing at Scott County, and Male went toe-to-toe with them losing 65-63 behind the sharp shooting of Cole Edelen who hit 5-11 three pointers and finished with 28 points. Another notable game was Eastern beating their rival Ballard 73-57 and snapping a 12-game losing streak to the Bruins that stretched back to 2016. A big game is coming this Friday when Saint Xavier and Trinity battle again at Bellarmine University.
