McCreary controlled every aspect of the game against a lesser opponent, although this team did get Pulaski County a fight in the Arby's/KFC Holiday Classic. Scott relies on the three and they hit a lot, but not enough. Raiders start a new streak, two straight wins after getting it snapped at seven. This win, which could have easily be 100+, comes on the heels of a pre-game announcement that school is canceled the rest of the week in McCreary County School Systems; therefore, maybe the players played with a little more fight.

 

Stats will be tomorrow as they are released.

 

Tomorrow night, the Raiders play again as they travel to Onieda, TN against another Scott County, TN school. I hate to say it for the Indians of Onieda, but McCreary will get revenge for their football loss and I expect another blowout.

Wow, I didn't think there was that much separation in the scoring between Phillips and Watts. Phillips was pretty silent, but he put up the numbers.

yeah phillps had a really good game Aaron got in foul trouble didnt play most of first or second. They guarded him pretty well also.

Watts will continue to be closely guarded from now on, good game for Phillps to make the other team pay with 29.

If Philips continues to score 29 the extra attention that Watts is getting is a good thing for the Raiders. He has made it a pick your poison.

Exactly. Both Watts and Phillips are averaging twenty-points per game. This is one of the better combos in the 12th region. If they continue to play their best, and the role-players contribute, this team could make a run at the region championship.
