March 19, 200719 yr These are the most general statements that could be made about "talking" to Coach K. For instance, I talked to Tubby yesterday, here's what he said: He said that he's upset with how things have been going lately. He wants to get good recruits. He was upset that they lost to Kansas (I told him I cheered for the Jayhawks and he "laffed"). I hate to bust your bubble BB but I don't think you talked to Coach K. Well dont think so that is fine, but it dont change the matter and yeah it was a general statement but that is what he said. I know it sounds far fetched but PM and I will tell you how and why I got to meet him. But I met him at the game Friday night with Bridgeport, he came and his assistants was there, I talked to him at his seat and the hospitality room. And as far as coach Beline goes I set with him for one of the games, he was there for like 4 games total, one of the nicest guys I never met. I never have got to meet Dickie V though, but that would be neat. But even with my talks it led me to believe that Patterson is playing them all up making them think he is going their. The main sports writer for Huntingtons paper told me to keep Marshall in the corner of the eye, they are going after Floridas main assistant (the guy who coached at Pikeville) and he has been the one recruiting Patterson mostly for Florida and Patterson is very close to him and said he would consider them if they hired him, but I dont see it. But only thing I know for fact is he will narrow it down to three sometimes this week and wont announce to second week of April, which is signing day.
