Final from Mt. Vernon.  Somerset led most of the game and stretched out the lead to the final 20 point margin in the 4th quarter. Somerset moves to 10-3, 4-0 in District 47.  The Rockets fall to 8-5, 1-2 in the District. Nice road win for the Briar Jumpers. 

Best performance thus far for the Jumpers.  Godby and Whitaker were on, and they’re starting to trust their teammates to deliver.  Absher and Grundy combined for 23 tonight.  Grundy has started to show signs, which would be huge for them moving forward. 

Coomer delivered another great defensive game on Walker Craig.  His physicality really bothers him.

That’s a really impressive win. They are humming along.
