These two played back in early December in the Billy Hicks Classic where Douglass won by 1 at 56-55. The Broncos will be without their 2nd leading scorer in DeMarcus Surratt. Not sure how Woodford will respond after losing 70-44 last night to Lexington Catholic. I am not sure why the Lex. Cath. and Woodford game does not show up as even being played last night it was the 7:00pm game, but it does not show up anywhere on the KHSAA Scoreboard.

    You could say the same thing about Frederick Douglass after their loss to Lyon County in the 8:30 game last night? I've seen then play couple times in King of the Bluegrass and in WGM Classic and they are obviously not the same team without Surratt.

    Surratt still out of lineup and today Armelo Boone is out as well as their head coach. I know Surratt had Mono not sure if the other absences are related to that? This one could be very ugly with all the Broncos are missing.

    So talking to Frederick Douglass fans and the coach sat three starters and reason given was "load management" very interesting development here at Lexington Catholic. In a tournament situation you know you're gonna play 3 to 4 games. Is coach taking the game off for load management as well? 3:13 to go here in first half Woodford County leads 27 to 14.

    End of the third Woodford County leads 48 to 39. I give a ton of credit to the Broncos in this one as with them being very shorthanded they are playing their hearts out and refuse to quit.

    Plus their 2nd leading scorer in Aveion Cheault did not play either. I am surprised that Douglass stayed within 10.
