Final from day 2 of the Scott Winter Classic.

Good ball game for both teams and definitely a game that was much closer than the final score indicated as Aiken made nearly every free throw down the stretch. The phrase “game of runs” clearly applied here as the Jags were down by as many as 13 in the first half and battled back to tie the game with some strong Coach Sully defense.

The guards that Aiken has are ultra quick and couldn’t miss in the first half and most of the game. This was a great test as the Jags won’t see any guards with that skillset of speed and shooting in NKY. Aiken has a really good team and has good size inside also.

Great to see Shaun Pouncy getting back in the flow as he was a force inside and will be a  major problem teams as he plays his way back basketball shape.

Overall this was a good holiday tournament game for both teams to get ready for the stretch drive in February- March.

Any other scores?

Incredible atmosphere.
