Malachi Moreno named player of the game.

The Mustangs really gave the Warhawks all they could handle tonight, but the Warhawks come away with it in overtime.

@Colonels_Wear_Blueoutstanding coverage!

Heck of a great game by a lot of players tonight. Malachi Moreno was named MVP, but from where I was watching Junius Burrell was the clutch player for Great Crossing.

Grant Neal with a highlight reel performance tonight. Solid games from Jack Fischer, Brooks Cargould, and Jakobi McRoberts for North Oldham as well.

Hard to deny 20 pts 17 rebounds though.

Oh, no doubt at all. I just felt like Burrell's clutch plays were 100% what helped swing the momentum back in Great Crossing's favor several times over during the game.

North Oldham (7-1) — Grant Neal 23, Gray Schmittel 5, Brooks Cargould 9, Ryan Howard 6, Jack Fischer 6, Jakobi McRoberts 12.

Great Crossing (7-0) — L.J. Holman 3, Vince Dawson 9, Jaylen Warren 4, Junius Burrell 16, Gage Richardson 6, Christian Martin 2, Jeremiah Godfrey 4, Malachi Moreno 20.

So I know I am in the minority here but I was not overly impressed with Great Crossing and was just a little disappointed to be honest. I mean they are big, athletic and talented for sure. But I just do not like what they try to do offensively and defensively and just do not seem to me that they play very hard. I am sure I just caught them on a bad game but I like Lexington Catholic team much more than them now after seeing both play
