Duke at Louisville Predictions/Updates

Featured Replies

What are some thoughts on tomorrow’s game? I think this is still a big and important game for both teams. Obviously with Louisville losing to Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago, I believe this is important to see how the Cardinals respond. This game should let us know more of what to expect moving forward on the rest of the season. The Notre Dame win was obviously huge and I truly didn’t expect them to lose to Pitt but figured one would come at some time or another.

I think Louisville probably wins in a close one with being home. What are some other thoughts?

Could play a determining factor on making the ACC championship game too.

Louisville scores on their first drive after Duke had the ball. Jordan looked awesome running that drive, Louisville 7 Duke 0.

Big stop by Louisville defense on fourth down with Duke being just past midfield!

1:01 left in the 1st quarter, Louisville 14 Duke 0. Jordan is crushing it, probably almost 80 yards already and just finished the drive with a 22 yard touchdown.

Why get away from the run? Louisville well over 100 yards already with Jordan on the sideline this last drive before the punt. Louisville defense has held Duke to two rushing yards so far.

Almost halftime, after a 47 yard field goal, Louisville leads 17-0. Feels like they should have more points. Jordan has nearly 105 yards rushing with an average likely over 9 yards.

7:32 in the third, Louisville leads 20-0 after another field goal. If Plummer threw the ball away before getting sacked, the drive likely resulted in a touchdown.

3:24 left in the 3rd quarter, Louisville leads 23-0 after another field goal after the defense picks Duke off. Jordan has passed 160 yards rushing on the day, averaging over 8 yards a carry.

Domination.

Go Cards!

If they finish the last quarter they way they have played and keep very close to this game plan moving forward, they should win the rest of their regular season games.

If Louisville had a quarterback slightly better and more consistent, this game would probably be 45-0 and they wouldn’t have a loss.

They seriously just need to run the ball the rest of the game. Defense has been absolutely lights out.
