For the first 35 minutes this match wasn't going anywhere.  Each team was really feeling each other out to see how they were going to breakthrough for a goal.

Finally in the 35th minute Lily Lund blasts a nice long shot that got to the back of the net to break the stalemate and put SH up 1-0 which is what it ended up being at the half.

Hopefully the lines at the concession stands weren't to slow b/c if you didn't make it back to your seats quickly after halftime you missed a ton.

45 minute:  Lily Lund gets a nice gift of a rebound in the box that she was able to take care of to increase the lead to 2-0.

48 minute:  These girls work quick, off of a Sacred Heart corner kick Mia Lancaster finds the back of the net to take away any chance of any magical fairy dust of an opportunity of NDA to come back from.

53 minute:  The Pandas do get a nice hail mary pass up to Riley Robertson who was able to shoot a goal past the SH goal keeper to keep it from being a shutout.

And that's all folks for the Semifinal matches for the Thursday night evening.

Sacred Heart makes it to the State Finals after a few year hiatus..... 2020 was the last time in the 'ship and they brought the Trophy back to L'ville.

A very nice successful season for first year coach Brian Woeste and the NDA Pandas.  They overcame an interesting offseason to put together a very nice run to the Final Four.

Congratulations Valkyries! ⚔️

Tough loss paNDAs; hope to see you back in Lexington next year. ?
