I'll fire the starter's pistol on this one, beginning with the "Lexington" Region.

3A Region 6

Lafayette took home the team gold in both races for Generals HC Caleb Joy.

It's back-to-back titles for the boys. Impressive showing by 'Yette, placing 5 runners in the top 11 for 34 points. Next year, they'll return all but race winner James Ndayishimiye.

The girls supplant last year's champ Woodford Co. The Generals placed their 5 scorers in the top 12 to outpace runner-up Henry Clay.

Also as the rankings predicted:

Woodford Co. soph Addison Moore was a comfortable winner over fellow soph Billie Phemister of Henry Clay. 

Lafayette senior James Ndayishimiye posted a commanding 52 second win over Ryan Hendrix, a junior at Woodford Co.
