Cov Cath with a running clock on the Thorobreds in the 2nd quarter. Harrison County's lone touchdown came halfway through the 4th quarter with their starters playing against the Colonels' backups.

Kaydon Custard is as elusive a runner as I've ever seen. He scrambled away from tacklers in the backfield on probably 80% of Harrison County's offensive snaps, and got out of sacks at least a dozen times even with tacklers wrapping both arms around him. Willie Rodriguez managed Cov Cath's lone sack of the night if I'm not mistaken.

Broke three more school records that have all been held since 2000. Most passing yards, most pass completions, and most pass attempts in a career."

Evan Pitzer made the Covington Catholic record book last night, tying the single-game record for highest passing percentage at 100% last night. Evan went 8-8 passing last night for 228 yards and 3 touchdowns.

I was impressed with Custard. Tough to get him to the ground in one on one situations and he has a strong arm, making good down field throws off his back foot while eluding pressure. Very good high school player.
