Final

Here is the stat summary for the game.

The big stat that jumps out at me is that the Mustangs had six sacks of the QB.  Ambrocio had very time to throw.  Brossart QB Kegan Gulley had two touchdowns rushing and one passing.  Two almost identical long passing touchdowns (one from each team) opened the scoring in the first half.  The Mustang ground game was also a big story accumulating 193 yards on 38 carries.

Bishop Brossart is now 3-4 and travels to play Ludlow next Friday night.  Holy Cross is now 4-3 and comes home to play against Trimble County next Friday night.

Both teams played without their top Running Backs - Holy Cross were without Ulysses Porter - 88/812yde, 12 TD, 135 ypg.  Brossart were virtually without Cam Mandel who was in the game for merely two snaps - 83/511 yds, 5 TDs, 85ypg..

Brossart  quarterback Keegan Gulley returned to form and turned in his best performance to date, running for two touchdowns and passing for another.  Both Place Kickers were perfect on PATs.  Brossart's Tyler Smith was 5 of 5, and Indian William Fisk 2 of 2.

Mustangs go to Ludlow next Friday night, while Holy Cross will host Trimble County - all same district foes.
