Lopsided scores

I looked at Thursday nights scores on the KHSAA scoreboard and then took a look at some of the scores coming in already tonight, and WOW!  The average score for the Thursday night games was 45-9.  What gives?  Is there something causing this disparity or just an off hand week for the state?

Most teams are playing district games this week. The bottom of most districts is pretty weak, that leads to blowouts when they play the top half of the district.
