I sure will miss these games. That might have been the biggest crowd ever at an East Carter football game. And it goes to show you what that rivalry does. It brings out the best in your teams. Honestly, the Raiders were the better team, but the Comets were gonna give them all they could handle, and they kept pounding away, to the point we were tied late in the 4th quarter. Everything you could ask for in a ball game. Proud of my Raiders and respect to the Comets. We might have 2 or 3 more left.
