? The second ranked Lady Knights capped off a terrific week on the pitch with a win over the Rockets in their home tourney.

⚔️ Congratulations Lexington Catholic!

• Both teams resume play at home on  Monday: Assumption (8-3-2) vs. Brown in a 26th District match. Lex Cath (14-1-1) faces George Rogers Clark.

Assumption struck first with a goal in the 24th minute.

Lex Cath had to wait until 8 minutes to go in game to tie it up!!!

Guess what happens next…..PK shootout to determine the CHAMP!

What a crazy Championship game for Lex Cath to “own” their turf for the whole week with such tough elite Kentucky competition.

    Congrats Lady Knights! Well done!

Frank, thanks for your good coverage of the tournament. I wish it had been televised somewhere, but you did a great job describing the action!
