Lexington Catholic 2 Lafayette 0

Featured Replies

Lafayette went to Lexington Catholic with high hopes sporting an undefeated record of 6-0-2, with a commanding win the last time on the pitch beating Frederick Douglas 4-1.

Lex Cath continues to roll since their lone defeat of the year back on Aug 14th against NDA.

The game was a battle for 80 minutes but it was Lex Cath who was able to score a goal in each of the halves to pull the win out 2-0.

For anyone keeping historical tabs this marks 26 straight wins for Lex Cath in this series, the last Lafayette win came way way back in Oct 2004. WOW!

Replace "commanding win" with "very nice" and I'll agree completely with you. I'd just like to point out that with 12:31 remaining in the game the score was 2-1 Lafayette leading Douglass.
