  • Got there for the tail end of this one. Sayre scored six runs in their last plate appearance, including two home runs.
• Walton-Verona 11 Campbellsville 1
  • Walton-Verona scored four in the top of the first, five in the third, and rolled the host team.
• Owensboro Catholic 9 St. Mary 0
  • We left before this game was played but O-Cath pitcher Grant Parson threw a no-hitter.

I'll add, this was the first time I've been to Campbellsville High since they finished the turf on their combined football/baseball field. The baseball facility is definitely unique in its structure but it was a nice place to watch a game. They appeared to pull out all the stops for the All "A" event. We had a lot of fun.
