Coach Malone has been head coach various places in Western Kentucky and northern Tennessee on both girls and boys side. 
 

 

I remember Coach Malone from his days at Warren East.  Most notably, he was the one who enacted what I called a "four-year plan", where they heavily used the class of 2008 from the time they were freshmen and on (coinciding with him arriving as their head coach), which led to them winning only seven games combined his first two years, zero district games his first three, but becoming a bona fide challenger in 07/08, including sweeping the season series from Warren Central (then of six straight region titles), but unable to get to the region tournament, falling to Greenwood by three in the district semifinals.  Greenwood would go on to win region.  My perception was he was a solid coach whose strategy ultimately hadn't paid full dividends.  I'm curious what length of time he will be at Todd County Central though.
