Did Holmes slow it down like the HC game or did they go back to the old style of fast-paced high scoring basketball?

A little bit of both. Lewis County isn't very athletic or long so Holmes started with a much quicker pace, but as the lead built to double bigits, they started to slow it down.

 

This game IMO was a good way for them to figure a lot of things out and what they'd like to do against Covcath Tues.

Nice win for Holmes going into a huge game.

The game was at Clark County.

 

Lewis County is a very well coached team, with Coach Hampton leading the charges. However, they have been hit by the injury bug if I am not mistaken.

Lewis Co. is a very yound and inexperience team. Coach Hampton has always been the kind of coach who plays to win in district tourney time, not really worrying about the wins and loses of the regualr season rather just worrying about taking steps towards being a better team and being able to win a game in his district.
