Warren East scored first to lead 2-0.  Warren Central scored the next 28.  Thus ended the lesson.

Warren East had a great building block season and they are to be commended for getting two big weights off their back - the first region tournament appearance in 26 years, and their first district title in 34 years.  But they really needed to see Warren Central during the regular season.  It was apparent they hadn't seen anyone like them.  At halftime, they had as many turnovers as shot attempts (15).  They were completely shell shocked and overmatched.  Warren Central did a good job of spreading their minutes, getting in the necessary work, and getting their starters rested.  They've now won their last six games by an average of 33.33 points.  Now for the four time this year they meet Bowling Green, and fifth time in six years in a region final.
