Final from Union.

Having watched Conner last night in person, and Ryle tonight against NDA, if I'm Coach Gambrel, I truly believe we have a chance next Tuesday.

Lot of credit to NDA, Kes' teams defend aggressively, Maya was everywhere, and Soph was really solid around the basket, but Ryle didn't look terrific tonight (excluding Holtman, she was very good).  They missed a lot of foul shots late, and just aren't the well-oiled machine I was expecting to see after the great weekend in Laurel County.

Kudos to Austin on her dedication to face-guarding Noelle in the 2nd half.  I think Noelle finished with 18, but everything she got in the 4th was well-earned.

NDA will have a VERY good chance to claim the 35th on their home floor next Thursday, and Ryle will need to play well on Tuesday at Cooper to hold off the Lady Cougars of Conner.  Should be a great week of hoops.

I can’t agree more with this post. If Conner shoots well I think they go toe to with Ryle and it’s anyone’s game. this was the best 4 quarters NDA has put together against a strong team all year. If they play with the same intensity in the district, Holy Cross might have their hands full. Hopefully we see NDA cutting down their own nets.   Go Pandas!
