With the changes in districts, it still feels weird that NKY will have two districts. It was clear that Newport and Covington Holy Cross was dropping, but it is just strange to me how two districts will exist with all teams being in as close of a distance radius as they are with exception to Trimble County. It also feels weird that Ludlow won’t be in the same district as Dayton, Bellevue, and Newport Catholic. Is it just me or does this seem weird to anyone else?

I do agree it feels weird not seeing Ludlow in same district as Bellevue and Dayton because they have always been together. Not so weird not having NCC, since NCC at one point was 2A and wasn’t with them anymore anyways. Plus with Newport being in 1A, you basically had to put Newport and NCC in same district. Not to mention since Newport, NCC, Bellevue, and Dayton are all in the same district for baseball and basketball. It made sense them being together in same district for football too.

Good point about Newport Catholic with their time in 2A previously. The weirder part of it to me is Ludlow too.
