Cooper 64 St. Henry 27

Tough night for the Lady Crusaders on their home floor.  Their up-and-down offense, versus a stifling Lady Jags defense, was always going to be a tough ask for Coach Smart and his team.  Good news, you won't see that kind of defensive intensity again...unless you meet them at NKU in a few weeks!

To the bolded, absolutely. And it doesn't seem aggressive, just unrelenting. The Cru didn't seem particularly rattled, just couldn't get many looks. Cooper's size advantage was easily notable. Add a constant rotation of quality players in and out of the game, well the Lady Jags are formidable.

Was able to catch the first half on the St. Henry livestream. Glad I did, as I hadn't seen either play, excepting highlights. 22-3 and 38-9 after the first two quarter stops.

As an aside, since both teams travel to Lexington on Friday, does it seem like NKY teams are scheduling more Fayette based teams this season?
